Amy Hewgill

Amy Hewgill has been working as a NZSL interpreter since her graduation from Auckland University of Technology in December 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in NZSL/English interpreting.  Her background is in music and she also carries a Certificate of Audio Engineering from Cedar Valley College (1995) in the U.S.A.

Amy comes from a musical background previously playing electric bass guitar and has an affinity for hard rock and heavy metal.  Although new to Platform Interpreting, Amy will debut her musical interpreting at the Metallica ‘WorldWired’ Tour in 2019 in Auckland.
